Mary has played and continues to play an essential role in our salvation. All of us need a mother's love. Anybody who has implored Mary, in any way, has experienced her maternal care. She is not only a great intercessor before the throne of God; she is a great person to get to know.

Mary is close to use, guiding us safely to where she already is. With all the apparitions of her that have taken place throughout history, who could doubt that God wishes her to play an important role in our lives? She does not come by her own power, but by God's power. If God thinks she is important for our spiritual life, who are we to question it?
